To help Annie out, who is still recovering from her hospital visit (do not worry, she is fine), I am going ahead of her for the introductory post.
My name is Alex (short for Alexandra), and I just moved recently back to Belleville. I moved to Los Angeles, USA with my mother one year ago after Papa passed away unexpectedly (this is not something I publicize, so please do not tell everyone). Mother grew up in LA, so she was happy to return, but I grew up in Belleville, and was miserable there. So I moved back, and am living with my friend Toby, and his family.
Everyone in LA thought I was a fashionable goth, due to all the black I was wearing, but that is totally wrong. I just feel more comfortable wearing monochrome colours. And it helps that my other friend Luke's sister works in the fashion industry, so she is always sending me free clothes. That reminds me, I have not told Luke I am back yet. Won't he be surprised...
I play hockey, and practise a lot, so I actually usually am just wearing short or warm up pants with a t-shirt. Papa taught me a lot, as he was a former semi-pro player.
I am really not the talkative type, so I am done writing for now. Maybe next time I will fell like saying more.

I love your outfit, by the way. I want that tank top! It's so me!
It's neat that you lived in LA. I have always wanted to go there. It's my dream!
